75 VOLUNTEERS are NEEDED for the 12th Annual Truxtun Youth Triathlon, Sunday June 17th. Children ages 7-17 are challenged in this Swim, Bike, Run event at Truxtun Park. They SWIM in the Truxtun Park pool; BIKE through City parks and adjoining roads; and RUN through Truxtun’s trails. You can help the children have an enjoyable and safe event. Race tee shirts provided for all volunteers!

Race Across America
Race Across America
RAAM needs a few more night owls or early birds for the midnight and morning shifts, June 23-25th, check out the Signup Genius for your perfect spot.
Volunteers are needed at the Race Across America Finish Line. RAAM is a storied endurance bicycle race starting in Oceanside, CA and ending in Annapolis, MD (3000 miles); it is known as the toughest on the planet and is something not to be missed. BikeAAA and AACVC are working with RAAM to be sure that volunteers are always at the finish line to help teams come in. Volunteers are needed to take a 6-hour shift during the time of the race finish from June 21-25, 2018. Share in the accomplishment and excitement! Volunteers who take a shift will receive a free t-shirt. Volunteers dedicating 12 hours or more of their time will receive a complimentary ticket to o the finishing banquet on Mon. evening. Walk, Bike, Run, Volunteer
Every Step Counts Walk, Bike, 5K Run will be Sat. June 9, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m
. This fun event is being held at Anne Arundel Community College. Many volunteers are needed

Volunteers play a vital role in the Susan G. Komen Maryland Ride for the Cure®. This year the ride will be Saturday, June 23rd
at South River High School in Edgewater. There are several different volunteer positions available at varying times that day.
They are looking for volunteers to help with route marking, registration, lunch set-up, rest stop support (you can do this in costume if you like), SAG drivers, motorcycle support, ride marshals, photographers, and more! You can make a difference in the lives of individuals with special needs! Spend the week helping a camper learn to ride a bike independently for the first time
! Camp runs June 18-22, 2018 with 5 sessions available each day between 8:15a.m.-4:50 p.m
. – sign up for one or two daily sessions (90 minutes each). Take a long lunch, leave work early, or go in late, it will be worth it! There is a volunteer orientation June 17, 2018 from 2-4 pm. All volunteers must be at least 15 years of age this year. This is also a great opportunity to earn service hours. There will be walking and jogging required each day. Great Chesapeake Bay Swim
The Great Chesapeake Bay Swim (GCBS) is one of America’s premier open water swim challenges. The annual event is scheduled forSunday, June 10th
and consists of a 4.4 mile swim across the Chesapeake Bay. The race starts from Sandy Point State Park. The course extends eastward between the two spans of the Bay Bridge finishing at a small sandy beach on Kent Island. They need volunteers to help with set up, registration, body marking, take down of the event etc. Volunteers will be needed for the Kent Island side as well as the Sandy Point Park side.
